Liquid Seal Stuffing Boxes

TIS Liquid Seal Stuffing Boxes are designed for use in combination with a TIS Stuffing Box to retain well pressure, typically while performing slickline operations on HP/HT wells.

TIS Liquid Seal Stuffing Boxes are available with the
following options:

  • 10,000 psi and 15,000 psi working pressures
  • Standard or sour service
  • Service temperature range of -290C to +1210C
  • Choice of quick union connections
  • Choice of wire size
  • Ball safety check valve sub-assembly which contains well
    pressure in the event of the wire breaking
  • Conventional hydraulic packing nut that can be operated in the event of losing the grease seal
  • Wire wiper system to clean well deposits from the wire
  • All injection ports have integral ball safety check valves to prevent the loss of well pressure
  • Grease injection ports include swivel manifolds complete with quick release couplings to prevent hoses protruding and reduce risk of collision or damage.
  • Spring-loaded keeper blocks to prevent wire jump
