TIS Renewables launched in 2023 as the newest division of TIS Manufacturing located at a dedicated manufacturing facility in Wellheads Crescent, Dyce, Aberdeen.

Focusing on the renewables sector, the new division has secured a contract as primary manufacturing partner and producer of NanoSUN’s Pioneer hydrogen refuelling systems. This project is an opportunity to illustrate the transferable nature of our extensive experience as a controls systems manufacturer, from oil and gas to the renewables market.

Having over 20 years of extensive track record in the production of innovative equipment for complex applications within the oil and gas industry has proven itself to be highly relevant for transferring to the ongoing energy transition.

With road travel accounting for around three quarters of global transport emissions, hydrogen will play of key role in the decarbonising of commercial transport applications; in particular the hard to decarbonise sectors of maritime, aviation and road. We are immensely proud to be playing a part in this critical journey, which provides the continued confidence to invest both in Aberdeen and the vast array of transferable skills available within the area.
